Hi, my name is Bence Székely, but I prefer Ben for everyone’s sake. I’m a digital marketing expert with 15+ years in this industry and counting. I’ve worked across the creative, strategic, and technical sides of marketing.

Get to Know Me

Fifteen years, multiple agencies, even more clients, and more campaigns than I can count. All of that shaped how I think about marketing today. Here’s the rundown.

No fairytale story here. I studied marketing communications, then started as a junior at an agency doing a bit of everything: social media, advertising, copywriting, and design. Then I deep-dived into the world of classic advertising, working with some of the industry's top names, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Dentsu/Isobar, TBWA, Virtual Identity, and Monks.

Along the way, I built up my own freelancing consultancy until it supported me enough to leave the 9-to-5 and go 24-7. I partnered up with the founders of Digitalwave in Hungary to build out their communications division, working with major brands like BMW, MINI, and E.ON. Then life brought me to Norway, where I co-founded Frem Digital, a Norwegian digital marketing agency that serves clients worldwide with advertising, social media, SEO, analytics, and strategy.

Each step added something new. Each step made me better at what I do.

Strategy, execution, and everything in between. Throughout the years, I've continuously evolved, purposefully building a versatile and deeply rooted skill set that covers both strategic planning and creative execution.

My hands-on skills include digital marketing strategy and consultation, social media advertising, SEO, creative asset development (copywriting and art direction), and campaign management and optimization.

I've helped local startups and global brands alike generate leads, drive e-commerce sales, and turn strategy into measurable results. I've managed millions in ad spend across platforms, designed everything from online campaigns to offline billboard activations, and built websites that actually convert.

My work spans architecting full digital marketing campaigns across SEO, advertising, and social media, creating brand identities from scratch, managing social presences for private and public sector clients, and developing integrated and gamified campaign concepts. Independently, through top agencies, and as an outsourced expert supporting multiple teams at once.

What I've learned along the way: most people love to overcomplicate marketing. Complex structures sometimes deliver results, but simpler often works better. That's my approach. Clear, effective, goal-oriented.

Beyond hands-on experience, I regularly invest in sharpening my skills through industry certifications. Not to collect badges, but to stay sharp and make sure every recommendation I give is grounded in the latest best practices.

My Approach

"On paper", I'm an expert in digital marketing and advertising. But that doesn't tell you the whole story. I'm the person people call when they're lost in their marketing, not sure if their efforts are actually working, or when they need a specific problem solved.

My approach is pretty straightforward: I help businesses make their marketing clear and effective. No fluff, no magic bullets, no chasing shiny trends. Sometimes that means saying no to things that sound exciting but don't serve your goals. Sometimes it means focusing on boring fundamentals that deliver real results.

Why? Because I genuinely believe good marketing makes the world a little bit better. When businesses communicate clearly about what they do and why it matters, customers make better decisions, and everyone wins. Bad marketing is just noise that makes everything harder for everyone.
